Posted: 31 Jul 2015 11:46 PM PDT | Learn about available social service resources at expo An all-access pass for community members and families, more than 50 social service agencies will gather next week for Butler County's third annual social services expo. The event, hosted by Butler County Family and Children First Council, seeks to improve access and quality of care for individuals, children and families. The resource expo will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at Fairfield High School. The event is open to anyone in the community interested in learning about available resources. The event is free, and breakfast and lunch is available to those who attend the entire day. In the morning, more than 10 panel sessions will be held on topics including emergency housing supports, emergency financial assistance, employment training, adult and child protective services, early childhood mental health services, substance abuse treatment and domestic violence supports.
